Anna Pace has extensive experience in senior roles in public sector transportation and land use planning, intergovernmental and inter-agency relations, and transit governance.
Most recently, Anna was Director of Rapid Transit Project Planning at Metrolinx leading the Relief Line and Yonge Subway extension projects and the RER project planning.
Prior to that, she was the head of Planning, Policy and Property with the TTC Engineering, construction and Expansion and the Head of Strategic Partnerships for the Transit City rapid transit expansion program where she started the first community relations program for the TTC.
She worked for the City of Toronto for over 25 years, where she held senior positions in City Planning, Transportation Planning and Intergovernmental Relations.
Anna was a founding director and President of the Toronto Area Chapter of WTS (Womens’ Transportation Seminar) an organization committed to the advancement of women in the transportation sector. She is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and its Womens’ Leadership Initiative Champions List.
Anna is a Registered Professional Planner and member of the Ontario Institute of Planners. Anna has a Masters in Environmental Studies – Urban and Regional Transportation Planning from York University.
Anna is excited to lead the start-up of the new Local Planning Appeal Support Centre. The establishment of the centre is an important step towards increasing public involvement in important land use planning decisions.
